Hidden Evil Poem by Damian Cranney

Hidden Evil

Hidden Evil

The evil is hidden in those who deceive,
You cannot perceive it, and so you believe,
Their lies and deceptions are clever and planned,
They pray on the Vulnerable through out the land.

Is it not time? is the question we ask,
To take up the baton, and address the task,
The young and the elderly, innocent and weak,
Are the targets the ruthless, set out to seek,

Tolerence at zero, is the least we should accept,
Maximum punishment, that the guilty should expect,
À little old lady answering the door
Should not be afraid, worried or unsure.

A child playing innocently alone in the street,
should not be at risk, from a stranger they meet,
The same principle applies to all who we cherish,
They should, not fear, by foul means, they will perish.
