Hidden Rage Poem by William Holdaway

Hidden Rage

Rating: 4.0

I clench my teeth
I clench my fists
Just trying to hide
The anger that exists.

You walk so tall
Like you're better than I.
I can see right through
True colors you can't hide.

You deserve to be beaten.
You deserve to be bruised.
For all those you've hurt,
Used and abused.

I smile and knod like nothing is wrong.
But my anger is there, hidden and strong.
