William Holdaway Poems

I clench my teeth
I clench my fists
Just trying to hide
The anger that exists.

</></>I feel nothing anymore.
There's nothing inside.
Nothing like before.
No place to confide.
...

</>I feel sick to my stomach
As if something is wrong.
I can't shake this feeling
It's with me all day long.

I'm just an amatuer poet. I don't look for recognition. I don't look for rewards. It's my way of getting out some of my emotions. Whether they are negative or positve. They're a way for me to vent.)

Hidden Rage

I clench my teeth
I clench my fists
Just trying to hide
The anger that exists.

You walk so tall
Like you're better than I.
I can see right through
True colors you can't hide.

You deserve to be beaten.
You deserve to be bruised.
For all those you've hurt,
Used and abused.

I smile and knod like nothing is wrong.
But my anger is there, hidden and strong.
