Hidden Rose Poem by Micron

Hidden Rose

Rating: 5.0

She grew a vicious cage of sharp thorn
To protect her and their sight to predators warn
And from the very same harsh bush
A soft gentle flower grew that couldn’t be touched
Swelling and blooming hiding unseen un-admired
The cage she grew all around
Was to keep others away and her sound
Until someone would really see her
And the thorns would no longer deter
Someone who would touch her heart
See the beauty within and wouldn’t depart
Someone to gently reach out untie the thorn rope
And pull her close giving her love and hope
