Hidden Tears Poem by Raechael Dsouza

Hidden Tears

Rating: 4.5

When others are around the mask is on;
No one knowing what's under the pretty smile;
Giving joy and making sure everyone happy;
Like nothing wrong has ever happened

When she's alone the mask is off;
Filled with pain and emptiness,
Hoping for a tight hug, and,
Him to make everything better

But, there she sits in the corner;
Full of just tears rolling out
, Hoping he would come back,
And, make all the tears disappear

Just read your poem. It's sad and poignant. Hope her man will see the tears which will melt his heart. I have a poem titled 'Chemistry Of Tears'. If you have time, please do read it.
