Hidden Treasure Poem by Franklin Spriggs

Hidden Treasure

The days of childhood, have long came and gone
Since we laughed and played from dawn to dawn
Through bad times and good you’ve been by my side
I thank God in Heaven in your heart I could abide.

We have grown to adulthood, childish things put aside
No more in your heart can this man hide
But my love for you my brother goes beyond measure
Cause deep in my heart, you’re a well-hidden treasure.

Tho this old world and all it’s riches divine
Could never remove in this heart of mine
This highway of life may separate or severe
But always in my heart, you’re a well-hidden treasure.
