Hide And Seek Poem by Helen White

Hide And Seek

I subsisted for sure in disordered confusion
in the midst of those
who appeared so aware of what was expected.

I used to think I knew where I was going
and then all at once I was lost…
but I stumbled along and faltering
feeling blindly
eyes ever open in wonder....
I wondered what was I for
and then all at once I knew…
and this is me.
