High School Days Poem by Salvie Rosales

High School Days

Rating: 5.0

High school days so sweet to remember
It went apace don’t we all wonder?
Full of memories the good and the bad
But never regrets all the times we had.

To terror teachers, I’d wished won’t come
‘Coz homework’s undone, all about atom.
Examinations once caused me to cry
Can’t find answers in cheat-sheet I rely.

Crush I had; has mesmerizing eyes
He looks, but oh, aimed to other’s eyes.
Ne’er had a high school sweetheart kiss
Oh I’m glad I’ve nothing to dearly miss.

High school days truly our life best years;
Outweighs everything including fears.
We were carefree and lots of freedom;
Know nothing of what has yet to come!

Best pals who once were our dearest
We lost touch, making our life the best.
Now reunited in this web called facebook
Let’s bring back the bond and ne’er unhook.

Reunion is planned by some dear friends
Started with few, now seem never ends.
Excitement to all as reunion’s coming near
Wish I could attend; just send me one beer!

(Dedicated to my classmates and friends in TPIPS and SNS batch '78)
