Himalaya Poem by james watkin

Himalaya

Struck dumb by its noble bearing
And grandeur of being
Since what age, for this, the Himalaya
Sun-crowned, high lama?

Of who's born into littleness
Born with helplessness
To this day, great soul, and ancient one
So imposed upon!
