But still today some walk as blind
Seduced by Satan’s charms
So proud they wear religion’s bind
With tradition’s arms
Receive The Light, whilst yet we may
To truth let no one frown
Cause none who come to turn away
Let Jesus wear His crown
Turn humble eyes to Christ alone
Let Christ His bride behold
Buy no more wares of flesh and bone
To whom the devil’s sold
Now stumbling blocks are plainly seen
Man’s do’s and don’ts abound
Hindering growth of Jesus’ queen
Her walk to hallowed ground
When Christ alone is Lord and guide
His church will find release
No devil’s wine will drink the bride
But serve her groom in peace
But God can hear the humble pray
Who’s faith is in His Son
His quiet voice will show the way
Until life’s war is won
Who faithful die whilst at their post
Who’ve lived to serve God true
The Father, Son & Holy Ghost
Will give them life anew
Eternal life through faith and trust
The Father’s face we’ll see
No more to live as mortal dust
But like God’s Son we’ll be
