His Eyes - Poem by Hannah Minton

Look around for inspiration
You wont find it easy
But nothing ever is
The one thing that is, however
Is knowing how amazing your eyes are
They're the perfect color of blue
I know this to be true
& I know how to read them
Would you like to know?
They're sparkly blue when youre happy
& empty like a cloudless sky when youre pretending
They turn a dull grey when you're sad
& never have i seen them mad
But if I had to guess their color
They'd be ice-blue
Whatever color they are
It's common knowledge that your eyes
Are simply perfect
