His Girlfriend's Face, At Sunset Poem by james watkin

His Girlfriend's Face, At Sunset

Oh! By what fright, or finer
What transcendent delight
Have you, just now, been seized of
Turned to the dusk; its light?

Face, beloved, let me guess is
Pained, pleasured, both. 'Yes!
Leaving soon, the one, I feel
Is my foreverness! '
