His Life Story You Do Not Know Poem by Francis Duggan

His Life Story You Do Not Know

Respect to the poor fellow show
His life story you do not know
Because he is homeless of him does not say
That he is bad in any way.

What right have you to judge the man
He is near the end of his time span
Of his life a heartbreak story he could tell
That has led him to his Earthly Hell.

The judgemental kind like you not rare
He has his cross in life to bear
He is as good a man as you or I
Since we like him were born to die.

A homeless poor man of the town
If you will not help him do not put him down
He has not harmed your children or your wife
Our lot could have been his in life.

Judge and thou shalt not be judged does seem true
A better life should be the due
Of the poor homeless fellow of the street
Searching in rubbish bins for food to eat.
