The first night they met
He knew it was perfect and true
The girl he had always wanted
Yet he put her in the queue

When he looked into her eyes
Her deep browns could not lie
She truly loved him so much
So why did he run away and hide?

Many nights that turned into mornings
All the days went away too quick
All his mistakes made her slip away
Now he's alone without her feeling sick

The day came when she could not wait
He had made a huge mistake
For the woman he knew he loved
Made the choice to leave & escape.
