His Scars - Poem by Kali Drainville

I use to kiss your scars
wishing I could just take your pain,
hoping to replace your past
I just wanted all your pain and suffering
to just be a memory

I never wanted to be one of you scars
one of your reasons to hate
I'm sorry love brings you such pain
I wish I could just hold you

and tell you everything will be better
But I can't read the future
If you really love her
stop playing games
stop fighting
and just hold her
and tell her you'll work thru this
