Just Live Poem by Kali Drainville

Just Live

Rating: 5.0

I am at the edge of a cliff
and I'm ready to jump
I stare down at the rocks
and water beneath me
I take a step closer

I jump
But I go no where
Its like I'm frozen
frozen in time

My past flashes through my mind
I see my future
and realize
I wasn't suppose to jump

I was going to be a wife
a mother
and one day a grandmother

time unfreezes
and I start to fall
but something saves me
an angel
a ghost
I will never know

But now I know life's
worth living
no matter what happens
if life was without pain
it just wouldn't be living
