His Truth Poem by michele kostelnik

His Truth

Rating: 3.8

It was quite a gregarious crowd, that flock,
all to do with a boy born who made His
mark
A frenzy of excitement always filled the air
as He grew into a man, great followers
were
there
Many stories grew about His birth
A new Jerusalem would come upon this
earth
He would be put to death for His ideas
were
new
Many loved Him but at His feet there were
few
The scriptures spoke of Him, not true, the
prosecution claimed
Upon this earth His blood was stained
He was of superior worth and set aside
Someday He will surprisingly turn the tide!
