Histories Poem by Tracey Witt

Histories

Rating: 4.5

Speaking into the darkness
night secrets told to the sky,
no whispers of return
only the silent clouds and stars.
Cheshire cat moon
smiles with his own thoughts

Wistful entreaties,
wonder of times and memories
lifted from dark places,
brought back to the surface,
treasures and debris
put away again
for a future generation of dreamers.
