History Poem by Ebey Alex

History

Rating: 5.0

She tried to escape in vain...
It was sure for them but still her soul struggled in vein...
A scream stopped at her throat because;
The canines dug deep in there...
A tiger sucked her warm blood...
Wolves ate her floosh...
Wild dogs fought for her bones and
Night rats finished her skin and nails...
When the sun rose no evidence was left for her existence..
Except the soundless scream wandering with the air...

'struggled in vain', not 'vein'. : )
