Hiu Ping-Hoo: In Our Youth, My Classmates And I Loudly Together Used To Sing -

REUNION
-by Chiu Ping-Hoo
-Translated by Frank C Yue

In our youth, my Classmates and I
Loudly together used to sing -
The School bricks are red,
The mid-levels skies,
Are O so blue.
(Today, they're the same hues, too.)
Of staying at one place, post-parting, instead,
Each chased after his own dream and Brighter Spring.

Fifty years later,
We are all scatter'd
Between the West and East.
(O Will the strives e'er cease?)
Re-uniting in Hong Kong soon,
We will talk of the past blue Moons.
Luckily, the surviving Warriors' hopes are not in vain -
Come November, old friends and brave comrades will meet again!
