Hold My Hands Poem by Bireswar Halder

Hold My Hands

The road is all muddy and slippery, it's uneven
Each moment is a peril, there's possibility of slipping down
It's tricky to walk alone in the dark night.
Please catch hold of my hands tightly, my dear, hold my hands.

The lightning in the sky befools me all through
And the unruly nature makes life very miserable
My steps totter down the unknown ways
Please catch hold of my hands tightly, my dear, hold my hands.

I am bewildered, scared and have lost the real path
You are like a true guide in my distressed life
Life is a long journey and I am in need of help and company
Please catch hold of my hands tightly, my dear, hold my hands.

Don't leave me alone in the ocean of grief and miseries
Show me light leading to my destination, as a crutch for the blind
As I completely surrender to you, a Messiah that you are
Please catch hold of my hands tightly, my dear, hold my hands.

More and more miseries may loom like cyclones
Waves of sorrows and pains may streak down my heart
I will bear everything with a smile, with you by me
Please catch hold of my hands tightly, my dear, hold my hands.
