Holding Back...
If I can just hold them back
Hold back the thoughts that judge
The thoughts that mock people
If I can just hold back the words
The words aimed at self-esteem
Aimed to hurt
If I can just hold back the looks
The looks of disgust and of pity
The looks that make me better than others
Maybe then I will be a better person
