You sat across from me
Your little smile brought such joy to me.

I tried not to look for too long.
I held back all my emotions.

Sitting on the ground i sat.
I talked to others but i was thinking of you.

It was so hard to sit there
To just sit there and hold my emotions back

Day after day i just sat there,
wanting to tell you how i feel.

You knew but i wanted to tell you again,
i wanted to tell you in person

To look into those eyes yours
Then i would whisper in your ear those words.

I wanted to so bad,
but i had to hold back.
