Holes. Poem by Peter Vealey

Holes.

It`s all about holes.
Filling gaps.
Losing the slack,
Filling the gap.
Holes in peoples` lives.
Once you were everything,
The morning sun,
Enraptured,
By you.
But you never had a clue,
Who I really was.
Wrapped up in two.
Filling gaps in our identities?
Same old story,
Death or misunderstanding,
The history.
Complacency or,
Put out to grass,
Nothing lasts!
