Holiday Flying - Poem by Marilyn Lott

Don’t you love to travel?
There is so much you can see
I love to sit in the airport
It’s really lots of fun for me

I mean, you see the people
Flying in and flying out
Excitement fills the air
Sometimes you hear a shout

There are hugging and kissing
And also crying I have observed
And as I sit and watch them
I cry too and my sight is blurred

Some travelers are kind of weary
Coming from a long ways away
And at the holidays of course
Many folks don’t plan to stay

So if you are meeting someone
Or if you just plain feel like crying
Go to the airport, my friend
To enjoy the holiday flying!
