Hollows Poem by Saint Chidi

Hollows

Tired,
Yet finding peace
Lost,
Yet finding hope
Uncertain,
Yet finding purpose

You say you're fine,
But still fighting these fears
You say it's okay,
But losing strength
Even your beautiful smile
Is in search for a refuge,
A place to call home

Your inhibitions gone,
Yet voice denied
Empathy fades
Love scarred
No one cares
Even your pain
Makes them sick
Alone, you walk in patches,
Hanging your hollows
On the little hope left within

Addicted to every good thing in life,
Yet lost in between the grind
The journey is only the beginning,
Yet you fear every ending of it
These shifting circles of life maze,
Where every inner breath is a whisper
That redefines truth
And relativism

Somehow you wish to end it all,
But it takes courage to end a breath
Courage you scarcely find,
And weakness you just let go
Even suicide is marred
So you're left to keep forging through,
Through every battle you never created,
Fighting what you know nothing about
And yet no one is coming to save you

All in a moment,
Reality blinks
Life appears real
The journey is with you alone,
Guarded by life instincts
And every flicker of light within
That light showing you to the cross,
Where every misery is buried
And a new life begins
This scent of self-worth
And inestimable value

Hey, Monalisa,
You're perfect
In this place
Called Christ
