Home Again Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Home Again

With his heart full of gladness
The soldier's coming home...
Flying like a dove
To a family of his own.
This time the bells are ringing
With angel voices singing
A wedding song from days of yore
Long before he ever realised
The remarkable exigencies of War.
