Home Has But One Address (Sonnet #217) Poem by Tina Baaklini

Home Has But One Address (Sonnet #217)

Whatever the days carry, I don't care,
However the weather storms, I care not,
For in your heart I dwell and breathe spring air
Where tender rivers flow as we run and trot.

Let the wind blow, let trees shiver from cold,
Let Poseidon's splashy waves rage and soar,
Warm my heart still feels as to you I hold,
While on serene heavenly seas sail our souls.

Home has but one address: your tender heart,
Exiled on the moon I feel without you,
It's not just that your heart holds my missing part,
It's the divine love that from your heart pours.

I ask no more the stars how my life will be,
For in your sweet eyes I see love and beauty.
