Genuine Gina

Homeless - Poem by Genuine Gina

When you have come to your last days
No roof over your head is hard to take in
When you have come to your last days
No money to keep you going
When you come to your last days
You wish for a kind soul
When you come to your last days
Its hard to smile and pretend things are okay
When you come to your last days
Your thoughts take over imagining the worse
When you come to your last days
You just hope you make it to the next day
When you come to your last days
Family is no where around which is very disappointing
When you come to your last days
You are very depressed and feel there is nothing to live for
When you come to your last day
You know who your friends are be them few
When you come to your last day
Hope deminishes
When its your last day
You wait for the bright light, the hope of better things
When its your last day
You think of who is special to you
You just want to die…but something inside tells you to go on.
Its is now the last day
You have said good bye to all who you care for
Will I ever get out of this place…?

    Hopes always exude beyond dreams
When you come to your last days
You wish for a kind soul
When you come to your last days
Its hard to smile and pretend things are okay
When you come to your last days
Your thoughts take over imagining the worse
When you come to your last days
You just hope you make it to the next day
When you come to your last days
Family is no where around which is very disappointing
When you come to your last days
