Homeless Child - Poem by Jack A. Bradbury

Asphalt streets
soak up the heat

Rising temperature
Of a million feet

Mapped confusion
Mass illusion

City jungle
Ancient curbs crumble

Homeless child
On streets ... wild

Backless couch
Tiny bodies slouch

Armchairs of air
No one cares
