Honey Poem by Weldon Davis

Honey

So much like
Honey
You eyes the only ones
I see
At night when I close
Mine
Speaking the truth
Is easy
When it comes to you
I find
A million reasons
To love you
Yet another everyday
We're apart
Longing for your
Embrace
Wishing to hear you
Say
That you'll always
Care
That you'll always
Love me
The truth of love
In your eyes
Those golden globes of
Honey

Great imagery on the theme of lovely eyes. Golden globes of honey are the eyes of beloved which the poet sees when his eyes are closed at night. There are 'A million reasons / To love you / That you'll always / Love me'
