Honey Blossoms Poem by nisha dyrene

Honey Blossoms

It is over finally
That long season of summery spring is gone somewhere
Lost in the wind
Drifting like a ghost through the leaves
An occasional snatch of perfume
Trails behind tickling my nose
But soon that too will be gone

The leaves are falling off the trees now
Leaving them all dry and bare
Stretching their hungry arms to the sky
Craving wet rain and soft breezy kisses

One day they will be strong and heavy with flowers
Pink and white and orange and yellow
Clustering together and laughing at the sun
Pretty faces smiling up with lush promise
Their branches will be heavy with fruit
Bees and butterflies will seek their company
Lie down amidst petals and make honey
Like a secret

You have captured good images from Nature about autumn and spring. Good attempt, keep it up.
