Hooded Figures Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Hooded Figures

Hooded
Hooded Figures
Though you be not monks
The Convent resounds with mixed
Languages
And new
And echo in the Sacristy
Echoes in the Corridors
The Garden welcomes Echoes not the less:
The façade of the Convent-Monastery glimmers
Glimmers red.
