Hope

Hope is the ray of sunshine,
peeping through,
the dark clouds of gloom,
sparking a new bright dawn.

Hope is the earthy aroma,
Fills your nose,
Soon after the first gentle kiss,
of summer's maiden rainfall.

Hope is the colourful rainbow
Glowing bright in the sky
telling the fun days are ahead
to the wailing Mother Earth.

Hope is in the dancing of
smiling Yellow daffodils,
Saying good bye to winter
favouring beautiful spring.

Hope is the mood of a
Birthing mother,
hearing the first sharp cry
of her first newborn.

Hope is the beacon,
for a despondent life.
Hope is the healer of
a bleeding broken heart.
