Optimistic people are some of the strongest you'll ever meet.
They choose to hope again and again.
To believe in people.
To trust in others.
Knowing full well they will likely be let down.
Likely be hurt.
And yet, they allow that hope to grow. To slowly unfurl like a blooming rose.
And when it comes to be they were wrong,
They grieve, they heal, and they hope again.
It isn't naivety.
It's hope.
Always hoping that this time, love will win.
