Hope Poem by Alexander Foald

Hope

I can see your pain
In the shell of a broken heart
Illuminated by a little glow
That you called hope

Did you wish she could listen to you
When you don’t have anything to prove
Imagination becomes your way through
Before it crushes you to the floor

And she forgot you already
Like a fly in the desert
Strip your love with her game
That you never could win

Maybe it’s just you
Who didn’t see it through
Maybe she wasn’t for you
But you never knew

And the sun always comes after long night
As it’s always dawn after twilight
There could be hope after break
Depends on how you see your fate
