Would you believe me?
If i testified seeing angels
No wings or Halo
But florescent and glorious
In the robes of simplicity

Would you believe me?
If i talked about love..
In the heart of vilest
In a world full of hatred and war
A pure undying love
Selfless and complete

Would you believe me?
If i talked about hope...
In the middle of despair
Desolation and cynicism
A flicker in the darkest
Or a hand out of nowhere
Reaching Deep in to the abyss
To lift you up...

Would you believe me?
If i talked about loyalty
Among the most disloyals
Obedience in the heart of rogues
Purity in a sewer
And selflessness
In the cunning and greedy

Would you, my love, believe me?
If i showed you everything
In a drop
Amd nothing in the complexity
Charm in the ugly
And elixir in the poison

It is this, my love
The flicker of hope
Dont stop, Dont give up yet
Because even if you fall short..
Even when you're on the brink
Is there a better way to live?
