Hope - Poem by dymon sidebottom

Hope is what some call me.
Hope I'm known by name.
Hope is such a shame.

Hope that is my name.
Hope makes no since.
Hope that makes me wince.

Hope the name for the numb.
Hope is me.
Hope won't set me free.

Hope oh why?
'Hope' they sigh.
Hope I want to die.

Hope is my name.
Hope is such a shame.
Hope that is my name

I get what you're saying, I think. Hope can be such an empty word. There's no substance to hope, it's just, well, hope. More or less a dream. But I have learned that hope can keep you going. I hope you find happiness in your hope. (Report) Reply
