Hope - Poem by Stefanie Fontker

Porcelain skies
How they shine
Gazed upon
By even the most-
Souless eyes
How we reach-
Our fingers
Brushing starlight
Before we fall
Back down to
Our Mother Earth
Such a kind-
Disrespect we share-
Dreaming a dream
Never so bliss
Ponder, we wander
As our imgination
Touches our hearts
The epiphany of fools
Never have we wondered
At the core of
Our yearning
We want more
More, than we know
We want hope
