Hope Poem by Andreas Derksen

Hope

All over the ocean
A hope full of motion,
Emotionally devoted,
On a boat that is floating,

Without the control,
On a horizon that's open.
Will you be tossed
or will you be broken?

Is this just a choice,
When the wind blows the ocean?
Or is it an action,
Withstanding corrosion?

Sometimes it's calm,
And then waves get explosive.
It's only the sea,
Where truly your hope is.

Ones you arrive
It will feel like good lotion.
A fulfillment of all
Desires for wholeness.
