Hope For The Day Poem by Nisarg Sukhadeve

Hope For The Day

I hope for the day when the clouds would form
And cover up this world filled with sinful norms
Of hatred and darkness that add up to a storm
And shred the heaven till the hell would form.

All the mistrust, all that dismay
These negatives darken the shadows of the day
No lubrication in this merciless friction
Of jealousy, depression and drug addiction.

You can have all that, oh no, wait you can't
Your hands are paraplegic due to some else's hands
Of tyranny, betrayal and communalism
Of stalking, espionage and discrimination.

I hope for the day when the clouds will form
And wet the world with drops of peace norms
That would strengthen their spirit of utter repulsion
To atrocities, injustice and negative propulsion.

And I hope that day will mow the lawn
That was weeded and will breathe new air of the dawn
So the doves with the branch will finally yawn
And sleep with calmness like a mother with her fawn.
