Hope In Despair Poem by Stanley Siyanga

Hope In Despair

Rating: 5.0

Voices of forgotten martyrs, echo through the cloisters of time

Ambers of courageous men, burning dishonorably under a starless sky

Puddles of evaporating hopes, raining in uncommonly deserted valleys

Faces of familiar smiles, forever lost to the injustice of biased justice

Portraits of child innocence, forever tainted by unrelenting fingers of immorality

Cyan colored lagoon, defiled by the indifference of unconcerned sailors

Forests of cheerful biodiversity, forever despondent by civilizations' unforgiving strides

All that was, ne'er to be, all that is, ne'er remains
