Hope Is A String Away Poem by Hebert Logerie

Hope Is A String Away

Hope is a string away
Hope is never too far
There is always a way
With a robust and strong bar
To shatter or crack the glass
Of despair, which allows the mass
To drown in the dark sea
In deep poverty, in sad misery
By camouflaged monsters
And duplicitous scavengers.

Hope is around the corner
Can't you see the flickering candle?
Ignore the evils who're trying to dismantle
You, day and night. You're a fighter
You will win the final battle
You will become a heroic model
An idol for the people who are desperate
To live a better life. No one can separate
A mother from her children. You have hope
You're already cleansed by the holy soap
Of decency, courage, pride, and fairness
You will find a way to sanitize this mess.
Hope is not too far
You can use a crow-bar
To break the glass of misery and poverty
Pretty soon, you'll start making clean money
"Great opportunity is everything"
Says the wise lady who loves to sing.
