Hope (Sonnet #265) Poem by Tina Baaklini

Hope (Sonnet #265)

Hope is seeing an oak tree in a seed,
It's a tiny white dot on a wide black page,
Hope needs insight for it stems from the soul deep
Oh, how we crave hope on life's grand stage.

Hope is a blessed virtue in sacred texts
Akin to love, faith; with it we face life's storms
Relying upon God's love and tenderness,
The sky has eyes, never are we alone.

O soulmate, your love pours hope into my heart,
You're the conductor of my joy and smile,
Unforgettable your love is since the start,
You flourished my soul despite life's trials.

Your love helped me rebuild myself from scratch,
No wonder that we're such a wonderful match.
