Hope Unknown Poem by Dark Shade

I’m trapped in the misery,
not knowing when I’ll be free.
I keep looking for the light,
but it’s something I couldn’t find.

Darkness is all I see,
voices won’t leave me be.
I am in a cage,
lonely and afraid.

No matter where I run,
no matter where I hide,
shadows follow me every time,
not leaving me behind.

The pain that I have felt,
the despair that I have seen,
the darkness that surrounds,
who is there to help me?
