Hopeful Love Poem by rita bitar

Hopeful Love

Rating: 5.0

You were the rain, and I was the fire.
Our love was the consequence of their reaction.
Emotions are faded. You're vanishing so am I.
But fire can't be turned off easily.
So I kept trying.
Even if it was the last time, the last breath I'll keep on trying.
Even if there was a hurricane, a storm I'll keep on burning.
Even if you keep falling, I'll keep my flame blazing.
To the last time, to the last breath,
to the last drop of Rain.
