Envision,
An endless horizon,
Tantalising,
Just out of reach,
In the distance,
Never nearing.
Such is the depth,
The extent,
Of human greed.
Why must man hurt man,
To gain what men have gained?
Why must life's sanctity,
Be stained by human nature?
Why?
Can we not learn from the endless horizon,
And see the world from afar?
Can we not be slaves of greed?
The horizon stays,
As it has have.
Can we learn,
What there is to learn?
Such,
Is the extent of the horizon's majesty.
