Horizon Vast Poem by Cee Bea

Horizon Vast

I search the sky, horizon vast
in hopes to find my given task
elusive it does ever seem
left for midnights softened dream

My heart and soul, my place and time
grow with me, like friends in kind
whom search with me for open door's
that might give sight to evermore

In honesty, amid the clues
lay often someone's tainted view
forgoing truth in lesson's taught
while bidding for what cant be bought

Now I gaze through every eye,
defining truth, defining lies
I Pray for those whom will not see,
in hope's those prayers wont be for me
