Hospital Poem by Cate Jade

Hospital

hospitals white as clouds in heaven pale
empty like the windows of and old house
blood pressure and temperatures like a jail
as plain as white old blouse

no visitors no leaving stuck and lost
food as tasteless as plastic
fading and appearing like frost
thoughts and emotions turn drastic.
