Hot Fudge-Filled Brownie Poem by Marilyn Lott

Hot Fudge-Filled Brownie

When I woke up this morning
While I was still in my bed
A hot fudge-filled cookie
Suddenly filled my head.

I told Randy I had to have one
Very soon if not before
But then he called DQ
Before we went out of the door.

"Not open until ten thirty? " I cried
My tastes buds would have to wait
But yes, my friend, definitely
DQ and I had an important date.

This story has a sweet ending
I will tell you true
My red plastic spoon dived in
Oh, you would devour it too.

A warm tender cookie encased
The gooey, dark chocolate so sweet
With ice cream - never, ever have I had
Such a delicious succulent treat!
